I’m Astrid Nordness, an Artist from New York.

I welcome you to view and enjoy these fun, whimsical, tactile, and thought provoking one-of-a-kind works of art that myself and my family members created.

Utilizing ceramics, paints, textiles, precious metals and stones as well as digital art in the creations. The resulting pieces, often inspired by nature, are a balance of simplicity and complexity, perfection and imperfection.

In addition to my work you will find oil paintings that my father Oscar “Orrie” Nordness created, and soon to follow works from other members of my family.
